Dealer essential Information

BASIC EUROPEAN STANDARDS
Please refer to the Basic European Dealer Standards Manual for complete guidance over the
minimum standards of Yamaha. Dealers standards are important to you in order to recognize
your own high level of quality. Standards also provide clear instructions of expectations
and procedures. The Goal of the B.E.S. is to offer a consistent customer experience to our
customers. Furthermore, Yamaha Motor Europe has updated the Basic European Standards
for 2026 in order to simplify both expectations and login process.

SALES GUIDE & USPS
Yamaha will offer more opportunities to upsell Yamaha & help you in your daily sales process
by providing novelties on Yamaha Motor Academy such as new Sales Course & Mini-guide for
any new Product which is provided at the end of each course.

Yamaha Motor Europe is now providing a short Unique Selling Points guide which covers most
of the characteristics and added values of engines & rigging components. We recommend
reaching out to your local distributor to obtain it.

SALES TOOLS – Y-COP & OTHERS
Yamaha Motor Europe will provide you with some sales tools that your local distributor should
be communicating to you. In 2026, we will continue our Y-COP free of charge action. We
kindly ask you to provide and install Y-COP system at no additional costs for all your customers
purchasing a 20hp EFI engine and above.

On top of it, we required your local distributor to keep being proactive on sales actions during
2026, with the help of Yamaha Motor Europe.
